WASTON operates in strict adherence with the ISO13485:2003 (YY/T0287-2003) International Quality System. As a renowned Chinese manufacturer, we strive to uphold the integrity of our conduct. All products are fully certified by CE. Our surgical stapler was among the first to be approved by the American standard FDA510 (K). Our accessories and equipment are now available in regions such as South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and North Africa. We have export destinations in countries including America, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, etc. Cooperative business relations with well-known Occidental companies have allowed us to either match or surpass the performance of analogous products on the international market.
We are a joint-venture operation funded by Changzhou Union Group and the Japanese Ohtsuka Company. A combined investment of 50 million RMB allows us to effectively engage in the development, production, and distribution of high fidelity medical implants and instruments. Our company infrastructure consists of 4 major departments including the Orthopedic Division, Surgical Stapler Division, Surgical Instrument Division, and the Thoracic Surgical Product Division. More than a decade of groundwork has escalated us to the top of the domestic industry.
Our corporate headquarters are located within the Wujin High-Tech Industrial Park of Changzhou city. The local logistics grid connects us with Changzhou Airport to the west, Shanghai-Nanjing expressway to the north, and Yanjiang expressway to the south. This prime geographic location allows us to field orders conveniently and effectively.
We have 3 major production bases spread across 400,000 square meters, of which more than 35,000 are occupied by facilities. Included are our 1,000 square meter ISO class-5 cleanroom and 3,000 square meter R&D center. More than 30% of our development, production, management, and quality assurance personnel are of senior status. WASTON owns more than 100 complete sets of state-of-the-art processing equipment. Our 5-axis machining center is provided by American HASS as well as German DMG and CHIRON. The slitting machine is provided by Japanese STAR while the thread cutting machine is procured from SODICK.
Supported by the resources of our parent companies, WASTON seeks to further expand its horizons. In order to fully realize our development potential, we have cooperated extensively with renowned domestic institutions such as the Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing Military General Hospital, Nanjing Medical University, and the Soochow University.
